As Nigeria continues in its fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic, measures are still being put in place to curb the spread of the disease. However, the Nigerian government is conscious of the effect of the Pandemic on the economy and has permitted a reopening of the economy on very strict terms which means movement of people, goods and services effective May 4 2020. In like manner, the Lagos State High Court has released new Practice Directions for remote hearing of matters within the state.
