Olajumoke Sorungbe is an Associate in the Firm’s Finance and Capital Market Practice Group where she provides legal advice and representation to clients in various sectors, including banks, development finance institutions, multinational conglomerates, and other corporates. Olajumoke has garnered significant experience advising sponsors and lenders on corporate finance transactions, debt and corporate restructurings as well as debt and equity capital market transactions. She also routinely advises clients on banking regulation and other related matters.  

Relevant Experience

• Advised on the structuring and establishment of the NGN1 Trillion Ministry of Finance Real Estate Investment Fund, and the issuance of Series 1 and 2 Units under the Programme
• Advised different financial institutions on capital raises of over NGN200 billion via public offers, private placements and right issues
• Advised an international financial institution on the nuances of supply chain finance, debt factoring and invoice discounting in Nigeria
• Advised a regional development bank in connection with the grant of a facility worth millions of dollars to a development finance institutions
• Advised the Zamfara State Government on the establishment of a NGN20 Billion Bond Issuance Programme by the Zamfara State Government and the issuance of NGN5 Billion Series 1 fixed rate bonds by ZSG-SPV Company Limited
• Routinely advises on the structuring, establishment and issuance of units under collective investment schemes structured as infrastructure funds or real estate investment schemes
