- Assisted a client in preparing its application to the Central Bank of Nigeria and accompanying documents for a Payment Solution Service Provider (PSSP) licence
- Advised a Nigerian Payment Solution Service Provider client on its AML/CFT/CPF compliance obligations and facilitated an AML/CFT/CPF training for the client
- Conducted data protection compliance audits on various Nigerian entities including Busha, Still Earth Capital, Moove, and Tenece in line with data protection laws
- Advised a foreign company on its proposed launch of a cryptocurrency-related project in Nigeria vis-à-vis the SEC’s Rules on the Issuance, Offering platforms, and Custody of digital assets
- Routinely provides legal advice to fintech companies in the national and international space including Payment Service Providers, and International Money Transfer Service Operators
- Drafted a range of technical contracts for technology and fintech companies including Software Development Agreements, Technical Partnership Agreements, Merchant Services Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Payment Services Agreements, and POS Supply and Maintenance Agreements
- Part of the legal team that conducted investor due diligence on Moniepoint in connection with Development Partners International’s (DPI) $110 million investment in the company
