Valentina is an Associate in our London office. Valentina served as in-house legal counsel for a leading financial institution operating in emerging markets, with a particular focus in Africa. Her experience spans a variety of cross-border equity, private credit lending and venture capital transactions as well as supporting fund formation and management. Valentina has assisted and worked alongside investment teams throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial investment through to divestment, while integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations, business integrity principles and broader impact and sustainability perspectives as well as ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance. Valentina also provides strategic advice on investment restructuring and manages portfolio-related disputes, including matters requiring resolution through litigation or arbitration. Before joining Olaniwun Ajayi (UK) LLP, Valentina served as Legal Counsel at AfricInvest Group.

Valentina is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. She is fluent in Italian and conversational in French. She has completed the LPC at BPP University and a Master’s Degree in Law at the University of Catania (Italy).
