Biography

Ephraim is an associate in the firm’s Oil and Gas practice group. He advises domestic and multinational clients on project finance, development, and regulatory compliance. His expertise extends to intellectual property protection and commercialization, including IP rights management, brand protection, and portfolio management.

  • Advised a leading energy company on its acquisition of a 10% participating interest in oil mining leases from a major international oil and gas company, facilitating regulatory compliance, undertaking the preparation of legal opinions, and reviewing key transaction documents.
  • Advised the lender on a $20 million credit facility to an energy services company, conducting due diligence, preparing a suite of security documents, and curating requisite conditions precedent documents

  • Facilitated patent registration across multiple jurisdictions, advising on patent examination procedures and prepared a comprehensive breakdown of patent registration requirements, providing clients with a detailed comparison of options across various jurisdictions
