Biography
Amos is an Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice. He has represented and advised both local and international clients in high-profile disputes across multiple sectors. He focuses on finding solutions to complex legal issues and delivering value in every matter. Amos graduated with First Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School and consistently strives to uphold that standard of excellence.
His extensive expertise spans diverse areas of law, including corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration, contract law, employment matters, banking, and criminal law.
Relevant Experience
- Successfully represented the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Commission in an appeal against a decision of the National Industrial Court awarding the sum of N5 Billion
- Successfully represented Shell Petroleum Development Company Ltd (SPDC) in an appeal against the decision of the Federal High Court awarding a sum of over US$50,000,000
- Successfully represented SPDC in an action seeking to restrain divestments of its assets till satisfaction of pending judgment debt
- Part of the team representing the Federal Government of Nigeria in a multi-billion Naira claim relating to the ownership of Banana Island and Osborne Foreshore Estate
- Successfully represented a foreign airline company in an action challenging the concession of an airport by the Federal Government of Nigeria at the Federal High Court
- Successfully represented the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in appeals arising in pre-election matters
- Successfully represented INEC in a National Assembly election petition
- Represented INEC in various appeal arising from Election Petitions
