Biography

Felix is a dynamic lawyer with several years of extensive experience across Power and Infrastructure, Finance, Privacy and Data Protection, and Commercial Dispute Resolution, especially international commercial arbitration. With the blend of his expertise in these areas of law, Felix provides integrated services to multinational and domestic clients in different sectors of the economy. He continues to deepen his expertise, especially in power and infrastructure, and finance.

 

Relevant Experience

  • Advised IFC on its USD50,000,000 (Fifty Million United States Dollars) investment in LFZC
  • Representing a DFI in the grant of loan to a Nigerian financier of distributed renewable energy for procurement of equipment for mini grid developers in Nigeria
  • Advising a Nigerian parent company on the implication of the Electricity Act, and the electricity laws of four states on its generation and distribution businesses
  • Successfully defended Nigeria’s biggest oil retail company in a USD500million claim before the LCIA
  • Defending 6 Nigeria power companies in a claim for USD110.96million in an ICC arbitration
  • Representing the Claimant in a claim for 60% of a Nigerian power distribution company in an arbitration under the UNCITRAL Rules
  • Representing a Nigerian Systemically Important Bank in an over NGN250billion claim for breach of privacy and data subject rights
